Tugs are not chew toys

This is a photo of a tug that was left unattended with a young dog (6 to 8 months) for about 20 minutes. Tugs are not chew toys and should never be left with dogs alone. When tugs are used correctly, they last for a very long time. When they are left unattended with a dog they may only last minutes.

Notes

Please keep in mind when ordering that all of our leather tugs are handmade. We try to be as exact as possible with the sizes and colors, but variances do occur.

My small, not very drivey dog loves this tug. We use it for play as well as a reward during training and it is one of the few toys he will actually work for and is excited when I bring it out. We tug and play chase with it and I intermittently open it up for him to grab some treats, and then play some more. I highly recommend this tug for those trying to incorporate more play into their dog's training and for just plain old playing with your dog. It keeps his interest and helps tire him out and I couldn't be more happy with it. Great product.
