The Digital Bowl Scale weighs up to 11.0 lbs in 0.1 oz increments. It includes a large, 4 liter weighing bowl. Easy to read LCD display. Weighs in both ounces and grams. It's perfect for monitoring weight gain in newborn puppies or measuring out daily food amounts.

OPERATION:

Place the scale on a level surface. If you want to weigh using the bowl, make sure it is on the scale before you turn the scale on.

Press the [ ON/OFF ] key.
Wait until "0.0" is displayed.
Place the object(s) on the weighing platform (or in the weighing bowl).
Using the [ UNIT ] key, you can switch between weighing units.

TARE WEIGHING:

Tare lets you subtract the weight of a container.

Turn on scale as described above.
Place the container/tare item on the platform (such as the 4L detachable bowl).
Press [ TARE ] and wait until "0.0" is displayed
You may now place items inside the container and obtain only the weight of those contents.

Never load the scale with more than the maximum capacity. Overloading will permanently damage it! Avoid any exposure to extreme heat or cold. Your scale words better when operated at normal rom temperature. Always allow the scale to acclimatize to normal room temperature for at least one hour before use. Give your scale sufficient time to warm up. Usually 30-60 seconds before calibration to give the internal components a chance to stabilize.

Keep your scale in a clean environment. Dust, dirt, moisture, vibration, air currents and a close distance to other electronic equipment can all cause an adverse effect on the reliability and accuracy of your scale. Handle with care. Gently apply all items to be weighed onto tray top. Although this scale is designed to be quite durable, try to avoid rough treatment as this may permanently damage the internal sensor.

Avoid shaking, dropping or otherwise shocking the scale. This is a precision instrument and must be handled with extreme care.

Only Operate the scale on a stable, vibration free surface.
