• Press the [ ON/OFF ] key.
• Wait until "0.0" is displayed.
• Place the object(s) on the weighing platform (or in the weighing bowl).
• Using the [ UNIT ] key, you can switch between weighing units.

• Turn on scale as described above.
• Place the container/tare item on the platform (such as the 4L detachable bowl).
• Press [ TARE ] and wait until "0.0" is displayed
• You may now place items inside the container and obtain only the weight of those contents.
