My 100 lb pit bull is obsessed w this brilliant and truly indestructible ball. It is solid and malleable as well as safe (w nothing metal inside). The glow aspect is rechargeable by placing the ball against a common light bulb, flashlight, car headlight etc. If you spend a solid 3 mins recharging it to full capacity, 30 mins of glow in the dark results. Then the balls glow will gradually dissipate. Trick is to recharge it again or put it away before it becomes one with the nights' darkness and can't be seen anymore. The largest glow ball is my best for sandy beach play w/ larger breeds because the smaller ball can get smothered by sand from a charging 4-legger. Losing the visibility of the ball makes it challenging to find especially on terrain unlike concrete. Just bring your best flashlight with for more glow.

This is the best glowball available and costs less than any of the other indestructable balls.I keep a stock of this product and highly recommend this model. to those who like to tire out their dog in aft sundown.

My two German Shepherds loves any balls but especially these balls. My German Shepherds are brother and sister about 14 months apart in age. Both of them are totally ball crazy but these are are perfect for them. During the summer months we started playing this game of glow in the dark balls. Behind our house we have 1/2 acre enclosed with a big fence. We'd go outside to play ball with two of the medium glow balls and a ChuckIt!. This would be about 11:00 p.m. We'd have to go out by flashlight to get to where we'd start playing ball. It was so fun for all three of us because it was so dark the only thing that I could see were the balls. I'd know where the dogs were because of being able to see the balls coming towards me but I couldn't see the dogs, it was a great deal of fun for all of us. I'm disabled and cannot walk very good or for any distance so this was a great way to exercise the dogs. All three of us really loved it. We will continue playing this game until the snow starts flying up here in Canada.

All our dogs love this ball. We have two pit bulls who chew through everything but almost couldn't kill this thing.

After a few days of letting them go at it in the house, they eventually put a crack in it so we started saving it for the park only.

Ordered a new one so our dogs don't have to fight over it.

My lab loves this toy. I first noticed the Chuckit brand after my dog started stealing these balls from other dogs at the park. After months of chasing my dog and returning other peoples' balls I decided to try out the brand that was so well advertised to me. I noticed the Medium glow-in-the-dark version and instantly picked it, along with the Chuckit Launcher. During the winter it is dark when I get home. I had tried and failed many times playing fetch with a tennis ball at night. Both me and my dog would lose the ball in the grass and I would spend all the time searching rather than playing. My goal is to maximize the time where my dog is running and getting exercise. This is for her health and my peace of mind in the house. We never lose the ball anymore with this glow-in-the-dark ball. It glows bright enough that my neighbors poke fun of the UFO spotting they witness in the park. It also whistles slightly as its flying through the air which helps get your dogs attention as its flying over their shoulder. This was a game changer for us. Highly recommended.

Comparison:
I first noticed the soft texture, which I imagine it pleasant for the dog. I have another rubber ball, made by Kong, which is more dense and hardly gets any attention.

Tips:
If you store it in a dark place, charge the glow-in-the dark properties by putting it near a light for a few minutes before use.

Pros:
Soft texture with no fuzz.
Durable. My dog once swallowed half a tennis ball which sent her to the vet. The Chuckit ball is a lot more thick.
Medium size fits in the Chuckit! Launcher which I recommend.
The look on my dogs face when I bring this out is priceless.

No cons yet.

I have bought several balls to use with the chuckit and found these to be the best. These are a bit heavier then most others and throw much better with the chuckit stick. Additionally, they are very tough. My 100 lb. GSD really gives these balls a workout and after about a year they still look like they were new. Thumbs up!
