Trainers that wish to train their puppies in one of the biting dog sports need to take their dog through a bite development program. This starts with prey drive training using bite rags, bite tugs, bite pillows and puppy sleeves like the one on this web page.
New trainers quickly learn that just because a dog bites a puppy tug does not mean it will bite a leg sleeve or an arm sleeve.
