Product Description

The design of this harness began with a need for a form fitting harness that stays upright on the dog while pulling a wheelchair, and giving balance to the handler when they transition from the chair. A dog's strength for pulling comes from the chest and our Pulling and Balance Harness is a safe and effective way to utilize that power. Unlike pulling a wheelchair that is attached to the dog's collar this harness takes the stress away from the dog's neck, making it is much safer for the dog.

Attached on the top of the harness over the dog's girth is a stand up handle. The handle is positioned so it is very easy to grab onto the dog for balance. The heavy welded D-ring for pulling is also located on top. It is very easy to hold unto the handle and snap the lead to the D-ring. There is a non-restricting back plate on the harness top to place an identification patch.

Our Pulling and Balance Harness is very simple to put on the dog. You open the girth strap buckles, slip the harness over the dog's head, and run the chest pad bottom guide strap through the dog's front legs and then back up to where the girth strap meets to buckle the harness. The front chest straps have double adjustments. The girth has two side release buckles and adjusting slides.

All the stress points on the dog are padded. The underside of both the back plate and chest plate are felted, and then covered with sherpa. The girth strap has two removable washable sherpa covers. The back and chest plates are covered on the top with rugged 1000 denier materials. The front of the chest plate is visible at night as the webbing running vertical on the chest is reflective.

The Pulling and Balance Harness is a gift to me. Spinal Cord Injury at the base of the spine, the medical community offered me a wheelchair for life. After much work with food, herbs, oils, yoga, acupuncture, and determination I was able to walk with my Service Dog since 2010 using her as a counterbalance and catcher of falls as I used your pulling and balance harness. I have used 5 different harnesses, none offer what your harness offers my Mobility Service Dog and me in comfort, support, lightweight, and durability. Just started a nonprofit foundation where we will be using your harness exclusively for our Mobility Teams! mobilitydog.org

For some reason this video has no sound when I watch it, maybe the volume wasn't turned up when you filmed it. You have a great website. Everyone does a great job and the dogs love what they are doing.

I have a Saint Bernard Service Dog. She is petite at 105 lbs. I bought this harness because the hair under her arm pits catches in most harnesses and makes her shake herself. This harness is perfect. The sherpa covers are movable and you can adjust them to make the dog more comfortable. She actually comes running to stick her head through the harness when we are ready to go out. She does not shake anymore. Her girth is 37 inches. We pretty much have stretched it to its limit. I also love the stand up handle which is just right for me. It is so easy to put on. I highly recommend this harness.
