Product Description

The 1-Handled Synthetic Mini Tug is made with the same material used for bite suits. This synthetic fabric is as durable as it can get without wearing down your dog's teeth. It's a great training tool for building drive in both puppies and adult dogs.

This tug is 11" long with an 8" circumference.

Building Drive

Drive building in adult dogs is always done with the smallest tug. Simply move the tug around your legs and body at a speed that your dog cannot get at. These short quick movements will force your dog to move quickly in order to catch it. When your dog misses, it builds frustration which builds drive.

Tugs Are Not Chew Toys

This is a photo of a tug that was left unattended with a young dog (6 to 8 months) for about 20 minutes. Tugs are not chew toys and should never be left with dogs alone. When tugs are used correctly, they last for a very long time. When they are left unattended with a dog they may only last minutes.

I purchased this tug from Leerburg through Amazon. After only 5 days of light use with my 7 month old Dutch Shepherd the seam on the side popped. It's a shame because I really liked this tug otherwise. Had this not happened I would have rated it 5 stars for sure.
