The ball clip is made of metal. It has a lanyard necklace adjustment to allow it to be easily slipped over your head. The tips are plastic covered.

It is designed for use during Drive & Focus training. The ball clip was used by Bernhard Flinks during our Leerburg Seminars.

When the ball is hung from the ball clip around a trainers neck, it forces the dog to learn to watch the object (in this case an Orbee ball on a string) instead of watching for movement in the trainers hands. This teaches the dog to FOCUS on the specific item and also on the trainers face. Most novice dogs and trainers experience the problem of the dog anticipating the reward because of hand movement. Using this ball clip will help to eliminate that problem.
