Einstein collars are lighter and more technologically current. Einstein's tapping sensation is twice as intense as their pager mode, their tones are more pronounced, their stimulation is cleaner and has a higher intensity when needed. The stimulation dial on the Einstein is easier to adjust and has the "lock and set" feature to prevent accidental over-stimulation, for 2 dogs each dog can be locked in to a different level. Einstein's stimulation is of a medical grade type that does not cause head jerking but will obtain compliance.
Another technological advantage of Einstein Collars is that they have the quickest stimulation in the industry. In other words from the time you push the button to the time stimulation starts is the shortest in the industry. This may be a subtle to many but competition trainers like it very much.
All of Einstein's products have night lights with one exception, the ET700. They have programmable modes allowing the user to select different uses for the buttons. All of the Einstein transmitters float and are waterproof to 500' and can withstand 5000 Gs of shock. Comparable e-collars are good to 60' and 1000 Gs of shock, tough but not as tough. They have a quick-release belt/saddle/purse clip combined with the ergonomics of the transmitter make it easier to work. Einstein uses Biothane collar straps for unsurpassed durability. Comparing similar e-collars in other brands to the ET300 is like comparing a Yugo to a Ferrari but paying the same price.
Last but not least, the money is staying here in the US, all Einstein collars and products are made in the USA.

The Einstein ET500 Ecollar is not what I expected. I have always owned tri-tronics collars and bought this collar because of the video posted and the price. It is not as user friendly as they make it seem. I would also insist on the Biothane Material collar. The collar that came with this unit becomes loose right away so the dog does not get the stimulation. I now have to order 2 new collars. I like how tri-tronics has for charging their collars. I will say the price is very good for what you get except for the nylon collars that came with it.

Hi there anyone considering this collar and thank you to you Cindy at Leerburg for pointing me in the right direction!
I bought this collar after seeing it advertised here at Leerburg, being in the UK we have a very poor selection of remote training collars. I won't mention the brand but my first one I couldn't help feeling that the stimulation was extremely inconsistent and I was damaging my relationship with with beautiful 55 kilo Rottweiler already an obedience champ. Therefore I contacted Cindy and explained where I wanted to improve my training, told her that I was very impressed with the Einstein Collar but would the ET500 be sufficient for my rather large but extremely trim/fit Rottweiler. Cindy told me that she was using the mini Einstein on one of her dogs and that was recommendation enough. The battery life is fab, the light system is so bright (almost on par with my 'Surefire' torch', the transmitter is so well designed, switching it on and off is so simple. I love this collar and have now bought the ET502 as well. Both the ET500 & ET502 are amazing both on the stability increment of stimulation, their features, the design of the receiver and the transmitter. All in all the most secure feature for me and my dogs is the fact you can lock the level of stimulation for the individual dog, which I found a nightmare to do with just one dog on other 'very' well known brands....
I love this product and highly recommend this advanced training tool, but a remote collar is never going to be a substitute for obedience training but once you've completed that... the sky is the limit with a remote collar as ingenious as the Einstein you will never look back. I am watching this space to see what Einstein come up with next!
Thanks again for all your help.

Hi Cindy,
Just wanted to let you know that my Einstein collar has arrived and that I have been using it for over a week now. I am impressed and very happy with the product. For what I needed it for, it works brilliantly.
It is an exceptional product and very good value. I love the lights in the collar too, which are very handy as I walk my dog often in the early hours of the morning while it is still dark.
I have a female Doberman from European lines and she is a very high drive dog. She is just coming up to two years old and although we have trained and work well together, when we are out and she is off the lead there have been some things that just flick her switch. This is what I needed the collar for, as she would only exhibit certain behaviours off the lead and from a distance. So very hard to correct. I have plenty of parks around where I live and sports ovals so it is a real pleasure to have her off the lead when we walk. She is very smart and generally well behaved, I have trained her from a pup to leave and ignore other dogs, which is fine. What flicks her switch is kids on skateboards or scooters and bikes, also cats. The collar is a perfect device just to give her a reminder from a distance and to enforce barriers and no go zones if she gets a little independent.
I also love the pager on the Einstein, I'm finding that she comes when she is a hundred or so metres from me just with a buzz of the pager.
So just wanted to let you know that I was very happy with the product and would recommend it to anyone. Especially in Australia as our other options are really only Sport Dog or Dogtra, which are great collars and I have used the Dogtra collars before. But for just around the local neighbourhood the Einstein is very good value.
Kind Regards,
Steve

Q.
Hi Cindy,
I purchased an Einstein ET-500 collar based on your Youtube video, on Black Friday. Shortly after making the purchase, I saw on Einstein's website, that the ET-500 is for small to medium dogs. This wasn't mentioned on the video, and on the training gear page it only says 15 lbs and up. I thought maybe this was a question for a trainer who may use the product. My male 9 month old GSD is a lean 80 lbs or so, and my question is whether or not this collar is appropriate for him. I look forward to hearing from you.
A.
The ET 500 is absolutely appropriate for your dog. The mention of small/medium dogs has no bearing on the suitability for bigger dogs (it's more about the size of the receiver the dog wears).
