Chelsey is a black and tan daughter of my Natan daughter Tina. Tina’s mother is one of my foundation bitches, (Una - who is now dead). Chelsey is a short coupled stocky female with a very nice head. This female has more temperament and drive than most people see in 3 dogs. The bitch has pronounced prey drive and defense to match with sound nerves. The first time she saw a sleeve at 2 years of age she bit and gripped with a full mouth bite. She makes an excellent personal protection dog.

I consider Chelsey a member of my top breeding females.

It's been a while, but I just thought I'd give you an update on Walkure v Leerburg, an Otis/Elsa daughter. I'd just like to say one thing.... WOW! I bought her sight unseen and this is the second dog we have purchased from your kennels.

First off, she's only a year and a half old, and she tracks like a tank over a longer than SchH3 track an hour old. She's platzing on articles, and loves the work!

Second, I've not put too much obedience on her, due to the fact I ruined a dog by putting too much compulsion on her too early, but she heels very attentively, and platzes, and sits on command from anywhere on the field, all without compulsion.

Third, we have 3 dogs in our club with the drives for protection work that puts the rest to shame (two of which are leerburg dogs) she's one of them. She lives for the fight! She'll come up to the helpers face to take the sleeve, and fights like mad to win it!

I don't know about any of the other dogs you've placed, sight-unseen, but my faith in your ability and your breeding program remain uncompromised. I'd be more than happy to purchase another dog from you (when the time comes).

Her alertness is never faltering, her drives never fail, and she is INTENSE on the work at hand, whether it's tracking, or bite work, or just ball play.

I want to thank you again for your choice. She's turned out to be everything I ever wanted in a working dog.
