Yarro v. Leerburg
SOLD

We are offering this 2 year old Leerburg male to the right home for sale ($1200.00). His registered name is Yarro Vom Leerburg (DOB 4-08-06) but we call him “D”.
Yarro or “D” is out of our Leerburg stud dog CJ. CJ is the dog laying by me on the front page of this web site. CJ is out of Kevin Sheldhal’s old police dog. Kevin's dog was one of the best police service dogs I have ever seen.
Yarro’s mother is Extra v. Leerburg, call name Snickers, who goes back to my old police dog Otis. Snickers was an excellent female - she has intense prey drive. That can be seen on the photos of her on her web page.
"D" is a large boned handsome black sable dog. He too has excellent prey and food drive. He knows basic obedience commands (in Dutch) and has had some preliminary protection training. He will come with our Basic Dog Obedience DVD and our Pack Structure DVD.
"D" is is a dog that will form a tight bond with one or two people. He is territorial and protective of his yard, home and handler. He would be an excellent companion for a single women or couple who needed a dog as a living companion. His looks alone will serve to intimidate anyone with ill-intentions.

This dog will take a few days to transfer his bond to a new handler. While he can be best described as a one or two person dog, once he transfers his bond he is DEVOTED to those people.
We won't sell him to a family with children. Not because he would not be OK with kids once he understood they were part of his family pack - we just feel he would be happier if he had one or two people to live with and spend the rest of his life with.
"D" has been a kennel dog but could be integrated into a house using our groundwork program. Because he has excellent food drive and is a perfect candidate for marker training. I have already started him on a little marker training and he loves it.
"D" is only going to be sold on a neuter contract. The registration papers will not come with the dog until the new owner has him neutered. He has one hip that is not good enough for breeding but with this said is not bad enough to ever cause him any discomfort. The x-rays will come with the dog.
This is an excellent dog for someone who is in need of a personal protection dog and wants to save a little money. If Yarro's hip was good he would easily be sold for $6,000.00. We just want him to go to a good home where he lives a long and happy life.
