Digit is a daughter of Una and Natan. Una was East German and Natan is the best of West German. I did that breeding several times and have kept three females back for my breeding program. All three are excellent producers. Digit is a large Bi-Color female with large bones, a big big head for a female and very nice drives. She lives as a foster dog with a small 2 year old child. Her last litter came early and when I got to the foster parents home, she had already finished whelping on the kitchen floor. The baby was crawling around with the puppies and digit just licked him too. I think she would have let him have milk if he wanted it. But when I took her and the pups back to the kennel - it took me 3 days to just get in with her and her pups. This is a very nice bitch. A number of the Una-Natan progeny have schutzhund titles. They are very hard temperament dogs with excellent drive and beautiful temperaments. TESTIMONIAL: April 21, 1999 My dog is doing well. To refresh your memory, he is SAM VOM LEERBURG - 7/24/95. We named him Luger. His hips are "Good." He is a terrific dog and we are most pleased with our choice of him and our dealing with you. You run a great shop and are a true professional. TESTIMONIAL: January 7, 1999 Hi Ed and Jeri Ann, Wanted to keep in touch and let you know how Xanther (call name Bruno) and I are doing. He is so clever. We have been training in some basic obedience using the Purely Positive training method and it seems to be working out very well. We don’t go anywhere without treats close at hand. Bruno is a soft dog and does not need any physical corrections or harsh words used on him. He was shook by the back of the neck twice when he started to pee on the floor and told Phooie! Now I just have to say that word and he stops whatever he is doing wrong. We try to find new and different things to do most every day. I am lucky to live in a college town. The weather was pretty balmy for the first few weeks after he arrived, so we took advantage of it and walked around the school a few times a week. Everyone loves a puppy and so everyone we saw stopped to pet him. We go to the park and play on the playground equipment. He thinks he is really hot stuff when he goes down the slide. He does not shy away from anything or anybody. He has very good prey drive with the ball and rag on a rope. By the way, Ed, you make that look so easy on your video tape. It took me a little while to get the knack of it. For the next few months, we are going to play lots of games and go to as many different places as we can. Martha Cole TESTIMONIAL: I know that you like to keep up with dogs that you have sold so I am letting you know that I had my dog's X-rays done at age two and one-half years and both hips and elbows are good. Her name is Snapdragon vom Leerburg, (aka Schatzie). Her father is Chucho and her mother is Digit. She was born July 1995. Thanks,
