It Will Not Play In Your DVD Player
Our Replacement Policy
So your DVD player will not play DVD-Rs....
Between 97% and 98 % of all DVD players will play DVD-Rs. We offer a list of machines that will play DVD-Rs on our web site. This list is constantly updated. We make every possible attempt to explain the DVD-Rs format on our web site.
If you ordered one of our videos on a DVD-R and it will not play in your machine you can return it and we will replace it with a VHS video. We will only do this one time. If we have replaced a DVD with a video for a customer who then orders another DVD we will not replace the second DVD with a VHS tape. At that point we will only replace a defective DVD with another copy of the same DVD.
*Please note that not all of our DVDs are available on VHS tapes.
If the second order is an issue of compatablility with a DVD player the customer will have to go out and buy a DVD player that will play DVD-Rs.
The fact is DVD players are now almost the same price as the DVDs that we sell, sometimes even less expensive.
Our DVD Guarantee Policy
We guarantee our DVDs to arrive in good condition. If the DVD is damaged upon delivery, please contact us for a replacement disk.
If this DVD will not play in your DVD player, please check the following before contacting us. This disk is a DVD-R format disk. This is different than DVDs you may rent at Blockbuster or purchase at Wal-Mart. Most of those DVDs are DVD-9s and are commercially pressed in mass quantities. Our DVDs are DVD-R disks that are burned, not pressed. If you are experiencing any of the following problems it may be a compatibility problem with your DVD player.
Does your DVD skip, freeze up, jump sections, lock up, stop playing, or not play at all?
If so, you need to check to see if your DVD player is compatible with DVD-R format disks. In your manual for your DVD player it will list all formats that your machine should play. (Ex: DVD+R, DVD-R, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, etc.) If you no longer have your manual for your DVD player, please go to this website to see if your machine is compatible with DVD-Rs: http://www.leerburg.com/dvd2.htm.
If your player IS supposed to play the DVD-R media, then you need to contact us with the following information:
Future Releases
