just thought this was an interesting video - huge guy, dog in car, cops decided to leave the dog in the car in this case, smart cops.

excelent argument to keep tasers, the 340 lbs suspect said it hurt worse than getting shot or stabbed

Don't assume they work all the time.
I agree it was a good choice in this instance but in the last month there were two instances where the Tazer didn't work in my community.
One resulted in a suspect with a knife being shot by Deputies and the other was a trucker who just threw the probes at us, eventhough he placement was correct with three different Tazers.
It is important for the public to know that no tool is 100% reliable and that there are no perfect solutions to combative, violent people and the conditions under which law enforcement encounter them.

Yet another scrote is reminded of the basic lesson; don't bring a knife to a gun fight.

That was really something. I didn't see the suspect fighting, but I'm sure the policeman felt him tensing up, etc.. The other thing I want to say is how impressed I was by Officer Rob's demeanor. He wasn't acting macho, rude or threatening. I was really impressed. I bet he is a good one.

Look at this video.
Maybe they should have used the taser in this incident, a very sad mistake on the cops part to send the K9.

Oh please. Thousands of officers have multiple thousands of contacts with civilians every day. The vast majority are good ones. Of course the TV won't show that, it isn't news.

There is a lesson in that video. Do what the police tell ya, and remember, never bring a flip flop to a gunfight.
