Hey all .. I've been talking about him so much I thought I had better upload a pic. I have not gotten the newer pictures of him yet but I will soon and I'll put up his 8 month picts \:\)

This is Duke way back in August! He was only 18 weeks here!
Edited to ad: He is 1/2 GSD 1/2 Doberman for those that haven't heard of him yet

That's it? One measley picture? \:\( Geez, Jen.

Welcome, Duke. Perhaps your mother will step up to the plate and start you an album. You are a handsome guy with nice long legs, and a combo of 2 of my favorite breeds. I am hoping to shame your mother into some more photos...is it working, do you think?

ahhh, look at that! Only heard and spoken of...the once elusive "Duke" makes an unexpected appearance on camera. \:o While Duke is a celebrity in these parts he does demand a great measure of privacy and doesn't take his fame lightly!

It will be interesting to see the change from 18 weeks to 8 months! Will he look GSD? Will he look Dobe? Only time will tell. Stay tuned for the next exciting exclusive episode of "Duke, Behind the scenes", with photography rites granted only to Jen Marshall, papparazzi, extraordinaire!
\:D ;\) \:D

Seriously, bout time Jen! Can't wait to see the changes! They grow so fast!

LOL!! Jenni, you are a crack up! No sooner did I post my reply that I read this post from you! Do you think combined we have put the pressure on??? You would think that someone who takes photos as a hobby would give us a little more than that! Must be her scheme to build the anticipation in all of us! \:D \:D \:D

Teasing you, JenM! Hope you know that! Between Jenni and I sarcasm and dark humor abound!

Jennifer, he's as adorable as he is handsome! I'm so excited to finally see him! I love his coloring. On another note, just what exactly has him so intrigued?

BTW, check your PMs.

VERY handsome young man you have there! \:\) I realize he was still pretty young in that pic, but his paws look HUGE! What's he weigh now at 18 months??

Love his coloring too...

LOL \:D

You guys are great. That is the only picture I could find, my aunt took it with her digital camera. I have 3 rolls of film just of Duke and I know I've got some picts of him when he was just a little bitty guy - like a few days after I got him.

My brother took some picts of me and him doing our OB routine, and I even have some picts of me with him, my ferrets, and his best friend, my cat. They're comin', I promise!!

I think he's pretty handsome, too At 18 weeks he weighed, uh, 35 pounds I think, and now at 8 months he weighs just over 70 and he's 26.5" tall now!. His color is what you get when you combine the traits of red sable and black and tan, most commonly seen in spitz breeds like the Shikoku, I like it a lot. All of his littermates were solid black.

I just thought I'd tease you with one cute puppy pic \:D
