Get the individual exercises correct then put them together and don't mark till after the two. Continue to mark each individual exercise RANDOMLY but also RNDOMLY mark linked (chained) exercises.
You don't want to constantly put two together or the dog may start anticipating.
Example: You teach a front and you teach a go to heel exercise as individual behaviours but you don't need/shouldn't put them together every time or the dog will start doing the finish on his own, knowing that what's comming next.
