I will have to reserve comment at this time for fear of 'non-dog training' conversation chastising, perhaps you could talk a little bit about just 'HOW' JJ trained Pheny to bring the ring in, whilst strategically placing clues filled with pertinent gory details! LOL \:D \:D

or you could just promise to come out tomorrow for training! It would really help to see it re-enacted to get the full dog training lesson, which of course means props MUST be included! ;\) ;\)

I went to Petsmart and talked to a woman who has her. She agreed to have Baroness evaluated so I have contacted JJ to see what his schedule is like. I will let you guys more next week. I think we might meet up on Tuesday or Wednesday at park. Need to figure out what time and when to meet up. \:D

By the way I didn't get a chance to meet Baroness yet, she didn't bring her in today. Shameless. \:D

This is the mal female that was caught in the coyote trap in the cemetary in Phx. They found three of her puppies later on and all are in fosters. I guess she is a sweet girl...a bit nervous but is fitting in well with the family and gets along well with the human children in the family.

Perhaps you just said it to show that you are active, but I can't think of a worse sport to be involved in with a high drive dog than rock climbing!

Bringing your dog to a local crag to watch you sport climb up a rock face will result with the high drive dog screaming at best, you will also be leaving your dog tied up or loose down below with a bunch of people you don't know, with their loose dogs running around....

If you are belaying, you should be focusing on your climbing partner and if you are a Mal owner you should be focusing on your dog....so you can see the conflict here.

If you are not into sport climbing and are into rock climbing for real, you will not be able to bring your dogs to any climbs, because you and your partner will be up on a wall all day and your dog (EVEN A MAL) can't do vertical rock \:D

The hiking and jogging are better suited to dog ownership IMHO. I generally leave my dog at home when I go climbing.

I was on the rescue's website looking at her page, and she's listed as Adopted.

Hopefully you have a new companion??
