Now that I have "recovered" from our Michael Ellis seminar the last weekend in July I wanted to jot down some of the things that stick out in my mind... Many of these are not dog related, so bear with me... Any of you participants, feel free to add your thoughts!

" Holy $h!t, it's a stump!!!!" Michael Ellis describing Malinois and their reaction to "sudden environmental contrast"

Eric Read, John Miller and Michelle McAtee and their jump/dive competition \:D This needed to be filmed, but alas....

"YEE HAW" Donna Matey (the cranberry queen)at the dinner Friday night \:\)

Ed BREAKING a full glass of red wine WITHOUT tipping the glass over or spilling a drop, WOW! Unfortunately, the next glass moments later spilled in his lap. LOL

Roni's encounter with the bidet (yes, Leerburg has a bidet) ..... you guys just need to ask her about it. No Roni, that's not the flush handle!! \:D

Michael and Will Rambeau singing tunes from Monty Python's Flying Circus, my sides are still sore from laughing.

I had quite a few moments with Debbie High, many of which are not suitable for posting on a public forum. That Debbie is something else!! "let your freak flag fly! "

I know there were lots more memorable moments but these were my favorites.

Thanks again to everyone who made the weekend a success, I can't wait for the next one.

Oh my gosh! I had so much fun, it was worth the long drive! Ed, Cindy and the Leerburg staff sure know how to organize a seminar and the hospitality was above and beyond the call of duty.

I cannot say enough good things about Michael Ellis. Not only is he a fabulous dog trainer. He is a really nice guy. He gave each team his all regardless of the venue. His training and teaching tecniques are very concise and logical.

I have to tell this......Will Rambeau likes umbrella drinks and since I didn't actually see Ed break the wine glass it looked more like he chewed the rim of it off to me.

It was so great to meet so many nice folks. I love being able to put a face with the names I see on the forum. What a great group.

Oh, and I just know that Cameron is gonna be famous one day!

Moments......too many to count!

Best regards,
Debbie

My favorite moment has to be the look on Ashley's face when Michael put on the bite suit. "Did he seriously just take off his pants???" \:\) \:\)

I also liked it when Jackson took Michael down and Michael couldn't stop laughing. There is a good pic of it in the slideshow \:\)

There were SOOO many good times, it's hard to name them all \:\)

OH.MY.GOD. yes. THAT was priceless. Almost as good as the rest of the tent occupants that didn't bat an eye while Ashley tried to find somewhere *safe* to look until that was over...

Yeah - he fell on ME. I was standing there trying not to breathe or move while he was trying to regain his footing! As soon as he crawled (with Jackson STILL guarding him) away I had a near hysterical fit of giggles!
Oh, and I LOVED the 3 ring circus!
AND Michaels' lycra pants... also priceless

Edit Reason: forgot to add Michael's pants to the list

Just remembered my favorite Ed-ism - "You must always error on the side of judgement"

Michael's great sense of humor and balanced ego is one of the things that sets the tone to make training fun and productive!

I loved it when he put his cup on and made the proper adjustments with at least half of us women staring at him....didn't even phase him. I loved it!

Speaking of donning the bite suit, I think the search for a 'loaner' cup has to be right up there as one of 'those moments', doesn't it? I can't remember which of the women it was who ran up to the tent saying she had a cup (as in glass, dixie cup, etc....) he could borrow. :-)

One phrase I'll always remember from the training, is "Pay the dog!". (I think Koby's going to be awfully fat next time you all see him!)
