I have a 7 month old Bi-color German shepherd puppy. He has wonderful ball drive and is great in obedience. He comes from a great working blood line. His Sire is Quanto Gipo-Me. However we got a slow start in protection training. He just started about 2 months ago. And he seems to be focused and in to it when we train at home but when we go to the training field he really doesn't want anything to do with it. I just don't understand why? I talked to the trainer and he just says "He will come around" but I'm worried. Any suggestions?
