Anyone else have trouble threading a Cinch It collar onto their e-collar for their dog? I bought a Dogtra 240NCP for my GSD and just got a medium Cinch It collar. It barely fit through the plastic openings on the e-collar and I was only able to thread it half way through. Took about a half hour to do it with a pair of pliers and lot of wiggling. The collar looks shredded now after being forced through the plastic openings. Luckily I got a good fit for her so I didn't need to thread it all the way through to get it to fit.

Other than that, I love the collar, fits so much better than the standard one and it's so easy to get on and off. \:\)

We have two Dogtra 280NCP, one on a medium cinch-it, one on a large cinch-it. My husband managed to pull them through with a pair of pliers, he didn't have to trim the edges, but he did say it was really hard to do.

Good thing is, once you get the unit on, it stays put. We've had one of them for a year, and the locking mechanism on the cinch-it still works like new.

Rob used pliers and silicone spray lubricant. I have on on the Bark Limiter, my Dogtra, and the Tri-Tronics Sport.

I LOVE having it on the often taken on and off e-collars, and wouldn't do it another way now that I have tried it.

Also try rocking it back and forth while threading it through. That helps. I use it too on a Dogtra 1900. I agree with Jessica. I wouldn't have a remote collar without a Cinch It to hold it on. It's particularly useful when you are trying to put it on a wigglebutt dog.

I have a Tri-Tronics Classic 70G2 collar. I have the cinch-it collar that I love. However, for the second time, the plastic openings on the sides have broken. I sent it into Tri-Tronics the first time, and they fixed it for free. I am worried if I send it in again they will begin to wonder why they keep breaking! I leave the collar on, so I am not pulling it in and to make it weak. Has anyone else had this problem??

OOPS! I meant the plastic sides of the Tri-Tronics TRANSMITTER, not the collar. I am using the Cinch-it instead of the collar that comes with the transmitter, and the plastic sides of the transmitter where the cinch-it collar goes thru have broken off twice, anyone else have this happen before?
