My Leerburg GSD of nearly 12 years passed just this last December. (Ed, I'm in the process of a letter of sincere thanks to you and family/staff for the best companion/partner I could ever have) It's taken me this long to reach the point of looking for a new pup and was saddened to see, but understand, why they've taken a break at Leerburg from litters. With that said, I'd appreciate any PM's with GSD breeder recommendations especially in the Midwest. Thanks so much! -Liam

Hi Liam,

I lost my dog in May 09, so I understand just what you're probably feeling. Sorry for your loss.

I would also appreciate any PM's for a german bloodline breeder in the midwest / upper midwest. I'm still several months away from any purchase.... It takes a while to get over the loss. \:\(

(I trained this dog with german commands, and haven't even thought about speaking german since May.)

Thanks,
Tom

I live in Michigan and am also interested in a German bloodline GSD with a great temperament to be a family dog. If anyone could e-mail me some recommendations of breeders in the area that would be great. The only one that I found was Kolenda Kennels in Dorr, MI. If anyone can e-mail me if they know about Kolenda that would be great too.
My e-mail address is nykamp11@msn.com
