How ironic, perhap's if many of these "vicious" dogs had been DNA tested many would come back with no APBT blood at all. There's a cool little quiz I had to try a few times to match some of the dogs. http://stopbsl.com/2009/10/01/breed-identification-new-articles-and-an-interactive-quiz/

That was intersting. I thought I'd do better. I got only 40% correct on my first try. But as two of those ten dogs were purebreds, I feel quite chagrined.

I only got a 50% and seemed to know more cats than dogs.
Which is odd because I've only been to about 2 cat shows and many more dog shows and usually had someone with me who would give me a play by play about the breeds. That Manchester was really sweet looking. I love anything that's dobe or looks like a dobe though.

Okay, I went back and took the other two tests. Identify the pit bull I got right on the first try. The pure breed test, both cats and dogs, I got 12 out of 12. The mixed breed test is the one I only got 4 out of 10. That one is really tough. I thought the dog with one blue eye was the part catahoula.

Didn't the pitbull one have none of them with pitbull, which is interesting because I thought pitbull wasn't in the DNA test as a possible match yet. It's hard for me to read them all upside down. I'm pretty sure I've seen this one before. I'd never have guessed the black poodle looking one to have dobe background.

The bi-eyed dog screwed me up too! I didn't realize any of the breeds it was mixed with had blue eyes. Where are the other tests? I couldn't find them..maybe I'm looking too hard.

The pitbull one has a link at the top within the first paragraph or so. The rest are links at the bottom.

Ah! That's right. Didn't think of the merle/blue eyes.

And thanks Michelle, I don't know how I missed that!

I found that for 3 of the dogs, I guessed correctly but the test told me I was wrong? I had to put the dog in the square 3-4 times before it told me I was right.
