Basic Dog Obedience, figured it was the best place to start to my first one. And it came right in time! Ordered it Monday, got it yesterday. I came down with a nasty cold this week and have stayed home from work the past two days. Just enough time to really watch the DVD! I can't wait to put it to good use

And this one http://leerburg.com/219.htm really informs that one. "Partner" videos, as it were, since Ed's emphasis on markers deepened after the Basic Ob video (although not to worry; markers are in there -- just not nearly to the degree that I believe they would be if the video was remade today).

I'm always impressed by how fast my LB orders come.

I couldn't believe how fast it got here! And the Markers DVD is definitely my next one. I can't wait! The Basic Dog Ob is like the perfect intro to dog training, and I can only imagine how good of a Chapter 2 the Power of Training Dogs with Markers is.

And having a Corgi, we especially liked watching Morgi do her Corgi thang in the DVD ;\) It's so funny how similar their mannerisms are!

Oh, that's right! Morgi is a star in that video.

You will see lots of Rush in Markers*. Rush too loves training and he is always having an obviously good time, as well as putting his all into every attempt to comply. He's a fun dog to watch work, and he must be a blast to actually work.

*Not to mention Ed wearing a bucket.

I've seen the part with Ed wearing a bucket! If it's the part where you train humans with markers (in the free streaming videos part of this site). Too funny! Watching those videos were extremely clarifying after reading the marker article. Such a good teaching idea.

I would love to see Rush work. I've only seen bits and pieces on the site and he is such a stunning dog. Makes me want a Mal so bad.... but that's a looong time from now! I'm very much looking forward to the Markers DVD
