Bernard Flinks came in 1st place for police dogs in the 2001 Nationals. If anyone is interested in his training techniques I reccommend Ed's tape on building drive and focus. It's a fun watch.

Yes,I think Ed will have it on the 2001 Nationals tape. Bernhard's performance was nice and he's a very nice man and super dog trainer. Ed worked hard at this trial filming dogs and standing in the rain. Cindy helped Ed out as well plus she was my moral support as well as equipment manager LOL. They both did a great job. I am not sure when Ed will have the tape completed.

Here's a plug for both bernhard and my SchH Club!
New Mexico Hundesport will host a seminar with Bernhard Flinks in March. He plans on bringing in his dog Itor on the trip to keep the dog's training up for a trial he plans on participating in in early April.
The dates will be confirmed jsut after the first of the year but it will be in the last couple of weeks of March.
The weather in Albuquerque is great that time of year. You folks in the midwest and NE will be longing for some sun by then. This will be the third time we have hosted Bernhard. He has done a tremendous job for us.
