What is a Cania Panther? I read about them at dogbreedinfo.com and rock of the ages kennel, but that is all I have been able to find on them. I tried a google search, but it just came up with articles on panthers or the canis lupus family. They seem like nice dogs and I would like to read about them. If anyone knows a website, a web board, or a person that knows about this breed, please tell me about it. Thank you for any replys, bye all.

I have never heard of this breed until today. I was just curious what you were reffering to so I did a search myself and came up with this website.
http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/canispanther.htm
supposedly they are a mix of Black lab, Doberman, Staffordshire terrier, and a black great dane.
other than that, I don't know a darned thing about them, and I probablly won't care to know any more about them either ,but hopefully this helped YOU.

Hmm, I wish I had read your post a little better. I see you have already found that website; sorry about that. Here is a link to an interview at bandog on the Canis Panther from rock of ages kennel.

A lover, a has-been working dog, a known loser, and a big goofy deadbeat. . .yeah sounds like a great breed.

Super interesting. . .BYB bandogs rock.

The breeder posts on Bandog Banter you could ask them directly...

You can also try Molloser Talk, I think there are a few people on that board that know a bit about them.

These are actually quite pretty dogs, but the breeder and training programs look shady to say the least. Does anyone know anything else about them? ( I know this is an old thread but this kind of piqued my interest)

Shady? Cripes, what an *understatement*!!

Everything that needs to be know about them is on their joke of a website - Check out their link, it says it all:
http://www.ppda.org/index.html

They're the absolute *laughing stock* of the protection dog world, 100% wannabe phonies.

I almost threw my brother's girlfriend out the front door when she actually attempted to form the argument that this bizarre designer mutt was superior to the GSD in any way, shape or form.

Uggh... there's no accounting for some people's kids.
Lead paint, I guess.

Thanks Will and Alyssa,

thats what i figured, but i was just wondering about others' opinions. Those dogs are in no way even close to on the level of a GSD.
