I was hoping that someone could tell me if Bernard has ever made his way to the California area? I would love to go to a seminar but I am unable to attend out of state. Does anyone know if he will ever be coming to the California area?

I meant to include the URL I got...

http://www.coloradogermanshepherdrescue.net/Seminar.html

Wish I could go, but like I told them, I seem to always find out a day late and be a dollar short.

I'm not broke, but Brother I'm badly bent.

WHAT??
Did you see what that club is charging?

$150 per day or $525 for four days ?!?
Is that club on drugs?

Crips, you can do five days at Ed's for $150 less.

I'll gladly travel 1300 miles to attend a seminar with Bernard, but not when a club gets that greedy, sorry.

I know Sharyn Baker well and she is a nice and honest person. She is furnishing all food and snacks for each day for everyone that goes. Also she has a tremendous new facility for people to board their dogs there while waiting their turn to work. Besides, as she states on the website, she is offering a substantial discount for people that go all 6 days. In my opinion, she as fair or better than anyone hosting a Flinks seminar. As for the drugs comment, I thought this was a mature discussion list. :-(

Just so we are all clear...it's ME that people are REALLY coming to see at the Leerburg Flinks Seminar. They found out I was attending and they filled up the roster in no time

Ok just thought I would lighten this up a bit...

Jacob,
In no way did I say anything about the seminar sponsor's honesty.
But if you charge over *double* to attend a seminar ( $525 for 4 days works out to $131.25 per day, $300 for 5 days comes out to $60 per day ) you have to expect that people are going to comment on it.
The Colorado club's price for the seminar is $225 higher for 4 days than two recent clubs that hosted Bernhard charged for 5 days. Bernhard charges a set pice per day - if a club is charging significantly higher, it's all profit for the club. That is of course their right, but explaning it away with food and drinks, which would cost the club maybe $7 per person per day, doesn't explain the much higher cost to the seminar attendee

Sorry, in no way is "she as fair or better than anyone hosting a Flinks seminar." Not at that price.
That might be your opinion, but I doubt if you'll get many people agreeing with you.
