Richard Lherisson is a thief. He is the owner of http://www.k9enforcement.com in Florida. This guy is not only a thief but a con artist and a liar.
He stole copyright artwork from my son and uses it to advertise his business. He has stole photos of other peoples dogs (from their web site - i.e Alex Dunbar www.cqbk9.com) and claimed the dogs were his to sell. He copied Tony Guzmans business name (Metro Dade K9) and called his business Metro Dade K9 Services. According to Tony people call his business and ask for Tony and Lherisson tells them he is Tony and cons people.
If you look in the www.miamidade.gov under his name, he has records with the county showing fines of $10,000 for animal cruelty, in addition he has 3 child support cases where he owes thousands of dollars to his kids and he states to the state attorney he doesn't work
If you are in Floida you need to steer clear of this creep.

Well after being on the web site for 4 or 5 days Richard closed down the web site and Tony Guzman's wife just informed me that the phone has been disconnected.
HMMMM I guess my comments were right - wonder if he felt the heat?

Here is an email from a person who read about this creep on my web board:
Hi Ed,
I don't think we have talked before, but I've been a long time customer of Leerburg. Your 'Creating Drive' video was excellent! I also find the articles and forums and invaluable source of information.
Anyway, I have been having some trouble polishing the obedience on my 1 year old GSD, Link. I decided to put him in an obedience class, as I am admittedly very novice and a professional touch would do Link some good. I had Link enrolled in a drive and bite work course with Tony Scitarelli, by my faults in the obedience ring forced me to drop out temporarily since I had trouble keeping Link under control at home. Tony also teaches obedience, but I was advised that having your protection trainer also do obedience may not give the best results.
So I stumbled upon Richard Lherrision. His website makes him sound quite qualified.
"been in business now for 10 years." "Director of K9.E.T.P.S." "graduate K9 Instructor from the National Institute of Dog Training" "Registered Master K9 Instructor from The United States K9 Academy" "The United States Kennel Club has recognized Richard Lherisson as a Master K9 instructor & Canine Animal Behaviorist" "certified Member of the A.N.D.D.A" etc, etc....
Not that I knew what any of this meant, but it sounded good to me, as someone who wouldn't really know, anyway. So I contacted him and agreed upon a 4 week session to cover basic and advanced obedience. Link entered the class a little over 2 weeks ago.
I never thought I would say this, but thank God for this hurricane! Ernesto is getting close to South Florida, and being that his kennel was much farther south than where I live, I decided it would be best to pick Link up until the storm blows over. My girlfriend picked him up today, to see that he smelled terrible, his coat was filthy, he lost a good 10lbs, was walking funny, and had horrible diarrhea all evening. Hes has been sleeping pretty much all day and doesn't seem very hungry, which is VERY abnormal for him.
I think after getting a bit of rest, he should be fine. Given the weather situation, there is little I can do in the next day or 2, but after that, what advice could you offer? I am yet to speak with Richard about my view on the situation. But, after learning most of his credentials seem bogus and that he and his staff have multiple cruelty to animal citations, as well as other animal health related citations, I don't think there is any question to Link's return.
As suggested by some friends, I may try Tony Guzman as a trainer in the future.
Any advice or insight would be appreciated!
Thanks! Jason
My Answer to Jason
This guys credentials are a joke. In my opinion National K9 is not a place I would ever recommend - I never heard of these other things - he probably made them up.
If you want my opinion about sending your dog off for training - read my philosophy of dog training http://leerburg.com/philosophy.htm
I know Tony - he is a goog guy - 1000 times better than where your dog was - but I would still NEVER send my dog off to be trained. In my opinion it makes no sense - your dog has NO REASON TO MIND A STRANGE TRAINER any more than he needs to mind the man who lives 4 blocks down the street.
But you do what you have to do. In 3 days we will have my new Basic Dog Obedience back from being pressed. Spend $40.00 and look at it. Then do the work yourself before you send your dog off. My gut feel is you will not need more help.
And please don’t take this as a negative pitch on Tony - its not. I would say the same about anyone. I am a firm believer that a dog needs to learn to work with his own pack leader not someone else.

I hope Jason got some good, dated photos of his dog in that horrible condition, in case he wants to pursue action after the storm. We need to train our own dogs. We have as much to learn as they do and every dog is a new learning experience. We are a different parent to each kid, and I believe a little bit of a different trainer to each dog.

I would like to say first of all that there are always 2 sides to a story and i know Richard Lherisson to be a great guy and a great trainer.. I have trained 5 dogs with Richard Lherisson and all of which I have been very pleased with. He has made mistakes like eneryone else in the dog industry and has learned from them...Why bad mouth him ,You dont bad mouth Tony Guzman , and he has screwed many people and police departments , not to mention that he was involved in drug dealing back in the day ...
Well I think that Richard must be doing something right , to have gotten to the level of success in the industry in Florida .

Newton - noticing that this is YOUR FIRST POST ON THIS WEB BOARD why do I suspect you are a many on a mission?
Lherisson took my copyrighted material and used it on his web site. It took the threat of a law suite - which I had every intent to follow up with to get him to remove it.
I also am familiar with a little of this guys tactics on soliciting business representing himself to be Guzman. Maybe you want to take these issues up face to face with Tony (who I barely know)
By the way - he has no LEVEL of success in the industry and you won't be posting to this board again. You had better tell Richard to let sleeping rattle snakes lie.
