Every now and then one gets an email that deserves to be shared with other people simply because it bridges common sense and insanity.
My son (Jeff) returned from Iraq a month ago. Last weekend he finished 2 weeks of home leave and next Teusday will start a Ranger Indoctrination Course at Ft Bragg.
Today I got the following email. It speaks for itself but if anyone has ever heard of a Trevor Bayliss the third [harry19817@hotmail.com] in the dog world I would apprreciate knowing more about him.
I HOPE IF JEFF DID ANY OF THE SHIT YOU CONDONE THAT THE BASTARD DOESNT MAKE IT BACK AND ALL THE SHIT YOUR SO FOR HAPPENS TO HIM , LET THEM BOMB THE MOSQUE WITH HIM IN IT AND LET THEM WIRE HIS BALLS UP FOR ELECTROCUTION .AND THEN LET HIM BE TORTURED TO DEATH .

You know, I was going to give this guy a piece of my mind on the e-mail address that Ed posted at the bottom, but I am not even going to give this IDIOT, uneducated, piece of crap the glory of seeing my name in his inbox. Who is this man to throw around the name of God, with the comments that he has for Jeff and my fellow brothers and sisters in the U.S. military. This guy has no idea of the love or judgement that God has. This is sad! Ed, ignore the retard. All he wants is to get you all worked up. Don't give him the glory! This guy will get what he has coming to him. One of these days he will meet, face to face, with someone that will strongly disagree with his thoughts and he will be luck if he is able to walk away.
Harold, I hope you are not an American. I would be ashamed if you were. Myself, along with many others in the U.S. Military, fight so people like you can have the freedom to say what you think. Sometimes this is unfortunate, such as in this case. It would be real nice if we could post a picture of you Harold, along with your address, all across web pages like this, all over the internet and TV, so all of us free Americans can have our way with you. Just like the dogs with weak temperments that have to bark big and look aggressive to make themselves look tough, Harold you are weak! You are strong behind the keyboard in your room, but what it boils down to is Harold, you are weak. I feel sorry for this guy. He is twisted in the head and unfortunately has a big mouth with lots of hatred in him, no matter his nationality. Harold, I will pray for you!

I think the really important thing here is despite the wacko's out there they are just that and they don't represent an inkling of what the rest of us think about Jeff and his proud father.
We ARE all proud of Jeff and the rest our military sons and daughters, brothers and sisters. Keep up the good work, be proud of your service - what you do makes this country a damn fine one.
