Hi everyone, just wanted to announce my dog Brandi, got her BH yesterday at a little over 2.5 yrs old. My nerves were definitely flowing over, and her healing wasn't as crisp as in training, but we got the job done. Her recall was fast and furious though, so much that she overshot me, but came back to do a perfect finish. I'm very proud of her, especially considering, she is a lil' BYB pup I picked based on color (pre-LB). \:\)

Here is a pic

She also got high BH, therefore her shiny blue trophy (with a Shepherd on it)

Also, our club President, Jeff Uhrlaub and his dog, Denali got their ScH III. Our training director, Hartmut Beckmann and his dog Enzo, got their ScH II, and club member, Faye Manceaux and her dog Berlin had a 100 pt FH.

Congrats Alex! Sounds like a great trial experience for all of you.
And as for the trophy, you always wanted a GSD, right? LOL.
Your girl is a beauty and I enjoy hearing about your work with her.

Way to go Alex and Brandi! She looks every bit as proud of herself as you are of her...she's got a big ol' grin on her face.

Thank you everyone for the kind words!

Aside from the nerves, we did have fun.

Steve, thanks, and yes, we will be giving the 1 our best shot.

is she a good tracker, alex? i always think that boxers would have some sort of "problem" due to their muzzle structure...

Hi Ann, no, she is actually pretty good at tracking. She is a slow and steady tracker. Very meticulous. I heard some judges like that, others dock you points for being a little too slow. I've never heard of Boxers having trouble because of their muzzle in tracking. Protection, yes, but not tracking.

Congrats Alex!

My last Boxers name was also Brandy (albeit spelled differently).
