I live in western Montana, and have been researching breeders "near" me ("near" gets pretty far out here!). Does anyone have experience/thoughts as to Guardyan Kennels out of Idaho Falls, ID?

http://www.guardyan.net/Our%20Dogs.htm

I don't have extreme confidence in my ability to pick a reputable breeder so I'm looking for advice. If you have any questions, I have an essay of a "here's what I'm looking for in a dog" letter I can send to you which includes my situation and background information, including my budget and plans.

I am also open to your emailed suggestions of alternative breeders "near" me (where near = "we can ship to Montana safely").

...or opinions/experiences with Kaykohl Land (http://www.klgsd.com/index.htm) also wanted. I swear I never ran across them before when I was searching for breeders!

I don't know anything about these dogs or kennel or what you are looking for but.......these seem to be all showline dogs, not working lines based on what is on their site.

Hi Stacy,

Where in MT are you located? I live in Billings but used to live in Missoula. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of reputable GSD breeders in the state. What are you looking for? Bite sport prospect? Pet? AKC type sport (Obedience, agility, etc) prospect? High drive or more moderate drive? Recommendation for breeders will be really dependant on those questions.
