Description

The Vir-Chew-Ly Indestructible Leash is constructed from lightweight, flexible, incredibly strong vinyl coated steel cable with a minimum breaking strength of over 900 pounds. Because dogs don't have the right incisors to cut steel, it is virtually chew proof, break proof and tangle proof. It is also rust and odor resistant. The leash comes with a detachable handle made from extremely strong comfortable 1" nylon webbing. The Walk-n-Lock tie-out feature easily secures your pet to a post or tree.

This leash is available in 4 ft length for dogs under 80 lbs, and a 5.5 ft length for dogs over 80 lbs.

Our goal is to Keep Dogs Safe, One Leash at a Time. Made in Oregon, USA.

Safest leash on the market

Our leash will keep your dog safer than other leashes. That’s because it’s made from lightweight braided steel wire that dogs simply cannot chew through! Unlike chain metal leads or nylon leashes, it will not leave you with cold hands or nasty knots to untie.

Joslin Larson invented the Vir-Chew-Ly Indestructible Dog Leash after her childhood dog, Shelly, chewed through her leash and was hit by a car. Several years ago, when her puppy Jake began to chew through all his leashes, she vowed to never let the tragedy happen again and she was inspired to create the Vir-Chew-Ly Indestructible Leash. Today, nearly three decades later, Larson worked hard to give a happy ending to this common canine tragedy and has so far helped keep over 25,000 dogs worldwide safe from the dangers of a chewed leash. While other leash companies are making attractive, durable-seeming leashes, those very same leads can be demolished by a chewing dog in a matter of minutes or even seconds, putting a dog's life at risk, especially if the leash is being used as a tether. Each leash comes with hardware that allows it to safely double as a tether.

Tough as nails, literally

Your dog is no match for this leash! The Vir-Chew-Ly Indestructible leash can hold up to problem chewers, teething puppies and leash destroyers. It is virtually chew-proof, break-proof, tangle-proof, and it looks good too thanks to its streamlined design and colorful vinyl coating. With a spring-lock attachment, you can secure your dog to a post or tree as well as adjust the length to make a quick, short lead. All the while, you hold on to a comfortable, strong handle. The leashes are also rust-resistant and odor-resistant. They include a high-quality comfort-grip webbing handle. This is an economical purchase because it does not wear out and comes with a lifetime guarantee. It will not fray, fade or break or get smelly like other leashes do. The leash comes in different sizes that correspond to the snap hook and the load that snap hook can bear. For instance, a snap hook for a very small dog would be rated to the weight of the dog.

Write your review here.Yes! I have used two collars for my two mixed terriers. It's the only leash one of my dogs hasn't chewed through. Every other "super tough" leash she scissor-toothed" through in seconds. The 4 ft is perfect length for me as well. Thanks!

I have a large lab who is only 1 year old and a very strong chewer. We went through several leashes and then I saw this item. I love it! My lab tried one time to bite it and realized he wasn't doing anything and has completely quit chewing at the leash. Not only was this a great purchase but it helped break a bad habit. It was worth the price!
