Key Features

Product Description

All of these sleeves are ambidextrous and made from durable French linen material. The level of equipment you will use in training depends on the individual dog. Many customers think the sleeve choice is only based on the age or breed of the dog but it depends on your dog’s temperament, experience and genetic ability as well as the sport or activity you will be participating in. If you have any doubt about which item to select please consult with your trainer or submit a question to Ask Cindy with as many details as possible.

Soft sleeves allow a dog to feel movement of the helper's arm during training and this can build confidence in a young or green dog as well as prepare police dogs and personal protection dogs for more realistic experiences. A Neoprene sleeve can be worn under these sleeves for added protection.

Level 2

For older or more experienced puppies, large breed puppies or small adult dogs new to protection work.

This sleeve extends beyond the forearm, measures 25 inches long and has a handle inside for the decoy/trainer to grip.

The switch to the Level 2 sleeve should take place when the pup has sufficient mouth size and grip strength to bite and hold onto this sleeve.

Where to go from here:

If you are going to be training in French Ring, Mondioring or PSA the next step would be the Seynaeve Level 5 Advanced Synthetic Arm Sleeve.
