2) JEREMY NORTON TEACHING A NEW DECOY: THE ACCESSORY ATTACK OVER AN OBSTACLE

This short video is of our friend, Jeremy Norton, teaching a new decoy how to target a dog to a specific part of his upper body as a dog jumps an obstacle, in this case an agility tunnel. This video demonstrates why decoys in the Mondioring sport have to very coordinated, very fast and well trained. This is not a training video, it's offered only as a demonstration. The bites are displayed in normal speed, then in slow motion.

3) FERNANDO TRAINING THE ESCORT WITH CINDY AND RUSH

The training in this video is to train Rush the escort in the Mondioring sport. The ring sports are biting dog sports from Europe. The biting dog sports are where all police service dogs and military working dogs come from. In fact, most GSDs and Malinois in S&R also come from bloodlines from these various dog sports.

4) CINDY RHODES AND RUSH (TEAM LEERBURG) MONDIORING 2 TRIAL

On September 8th, 2013, Cindy Rhodes and her 5 year old Belgian Malinois, Rush, competed in a Mondioring trial in Harris MN, scoring an impressive 286 points out of 300 for their level 2 title. This was the first leg of Rush's Mondioring 2.

Para*Clear

"For my dog, this has been a game changer and I believe it has saved her from a life full of chemical dewormers and flagyl. I can't recommend this enough, and I think anyone who has a dog with a history of giardia can benefit greatly from a daily diatomaceous earth regimen."

Question:

How do you balance treats with food to keep your dogs at a desired weight?

Answer:

On days your dog is getting a lot of treats, let her skip meals or only use her daily food for her training. I'd also look at the size of the treats you are giving. For Stella, if I use Zuke's, I actually cut them in half with a pair of scissors. A little dog doesn’t need big pieces. Once Stella reaches her full growth, on days she's getting trained I'll likely only feed her during training if it appears she’s struggling with her weight.

Will your dog play tug? That's another option, don't use food only but use tugging as a reward as much as you can... it's calorie free and it builds really nice engagement. If she won’t play tug, then I'd make that a training goal.
