Prowl - Dehydrated Raw Cat Food

Our first dehydrated raw cat food option. Prowl is a natural, cat food recipe specially formulated for even the fussiest of felines. A higher protein, grain-free cat food, this formula can stand alone or act as a base for your own homemade cat food diet.

This recipe has been formulated to meet the AAFCO cat food nutrient profiles for adult maintenance and can be fed as a stand alone diet, or as a nutritionally balanced base for home made raw or cooked cat food.

Keep in mind, cats really enjoy a varied diet and it may be wise to rotate between several different meats as a tasty addition to Prowl, for your cat.

Dry kibble-style cat food is not a good choice for most cats! Grains are a very poor choice for felines who are obligate carnivores and can digest only a very small amount of vegetable ingredients in their diet.

Hydration:

Prowl must be hydrated with warm water before serving. One tablespoon of Prowl will make about ½ oz of fresh food when hydrated. Hydrated food is a great choice for cats since it provides them with plenty of fluid which is vital for their delicate urinary and excretory systems.

Ingredients

Hormone-free chicken, eggs, potatoes, yams, flaxseed, zucchini, spinach, honey, cranberries, rosemary, vitamins and minerals.

All grains in Honest Kitchen food are certified organic. The meats are hormone, antibiotic free and the fruits and vegetables are guaranteed non GMO. Honest Kitchen's Quinoa is certified fair-trade.

Vitamins & Minerals:

Each of the Honest Kitchen foods contains the following: 100% human food grade, vitamin-mineral premix: tricalcium phosphate, choline chloride, zinc amino acid chelate, vitamin D3 supplement, vitamin E supplement, potassium chloride, iron amino acid chelate, copper amino acid chelate.

Suitable For:

Adult Maintenance. Prowl can also be fed to kittens, when supplemented with additional meat.

Review 1 on Prowl Cat Food November 6, 2008 I though it was funny that when I ordered the large dog fleece dog bed and two small bags of Prowl that there was a comment on my invoice written in pink highlighter that said, Two bags of Honest Kitchen Cat Food! Its the exclammtion point that got me. I felt like somebody was wondering what kind of cat I was feeding if I ordered a large fleece bed. Dont worry, the Prowl was for my ferrets. I mix it with my cooked chicken recipe to help balance it out. Prowl actually meets or exceeds our ferrets nutritional needs. The fleece was for my GSD, Echo. She chewed her other bed to ribbons, but so far, she hasnt been able to unravel the special stitching on this bed. I am very pleased so far. I love your website.
