It’s hard to keep a good thief down. That’s why there are prisons. This crook will continue to cheat people until she and her low life family are in prison.

I got an e-mail today informing me that Samantha Smith had raised her ugly head as Townsend Acres Dogs (She also has a site for Townsend Horses). I am including the photos and information on the web site below. I am sure the photos are all stolen and the information on these dogs is all a lie.

Here is how to flag a crook. First crooks do not have their name or their address on their web site (look below where Smith tries to justify this). The way you can contact them is by email. They also do not post their name. In fact they post a copyright at the bottom of the page but there is no name associated with the copyright. A DUMB AND DUMBER move. But then what would we expect - most criminals are stupid.

This time around I am going to copy part of this web site below because as soon as I post this new site it will be taken down. This is how people get suckered in and cheated. (The first photo below is actually Farus vom Kirschental - I don’t know who owns Farus but it certainly is not Samantha Smith) or whatever name she is going by this week.

This photo of Farus was replaced within an hour after my first e-mail to Smith challenging her. It was replaced with a sable males picture - with a caption of:

He is a lovely Black Sable male, and he is available for stud. His stud fee is $ 950.00. Please e-mail us if you interested in using one of our GSDs for breeding.

We are sad to say, Bud has passed away since this photo was taken. He was owned by Brandy of Von Bear Claw Kennels. Bud had Sch3, Ipo3, Va-rated and KKl-1 titles to his name. We hope all of his offspring carry these as well.

I read your page on Samantha Smith, so I decidedto go and see her site for myself. One of the dogs on her picture page who she claims is "Kane" is really Hoss vom Tatzend who is owned by Paul & Jill Hoelle of "von der Hollenburg" kennels. If you go to their web site (www.vdhollenburg.com) you can see his picture on their home page, which is the exact picture that Samantha has on her site claiming his name is "Kane."

Just thought you'd like to know.

The large impressive male Rottweiler is Rick v Wiessen Schwann SchH 1, He is owned by vr-rottweilers.com Bob and Suzie Bolognesi, and I took the photos, there are three photos identifying the same dog and there are actually two different dogs used. The photo with the two adult rotts on a front porch are in fact of a Best in Show dog named Kahn and then the ones identified as Bud and BJ are of Rick.
Might be fun to identify the dog with his REAL NAME Hope all is well, will I see you in Birminghan for the Nationals?

Thank you so much for posting your page to the public on this Samantha Smith, Brandy, Kristen....whatever!!!

It seems what the reputable GSD community has endured has not rolled over to the Rottweiler. I am a code of ethics breeder in Raleigh NC of CH rottweilers. I have been in this breed for 10 years and have seen some crazy things, but you're right, this story takes the cake. I have taken the liberty of courtesy copying some of the other reputable breeders who she's stolen photos from and posted on her site in hopes that we can put our heads together to hopefully circumvent the mess that she bestowed on your breed.

Some background.....

I don't think any of us have ever heard of this woman until two days ago, when someone on one of our Rottie chat lists inquired about the true identity of some suspicious (meaning very famous Rottweilers) photos. I have since learned she now frequents Rottie chat groups, too. In fact, to my amazement, a photo of my two dogs (I own them and took the photo, have the negative) are on her homepage!!! YIKES!!! She is even currently advertising a litter out of them. She calls herself Kristen Slice, and claims Brandy owns some of the dogs from Von Bear Claw Kennels.

I don't know who's who, but I read your story I am deeply concerned not just about her lifting photos of famous dogs in our breed, but actually stealing AKC numbers to defraud innocent people. NOW THAT'S SCARY as this woman creeping into our breed...may I be brutally frank....makes for a DEADLY combination.

I can only assume she must rake in alot of dough doing this because I would think after a while (especially after receiving your wrath) it would not be worth the hassle anymore to be constantly on the run.

I hope you can that you could lend some advise based on your experiences with this crook as to how we can get these two sites shut down. They are:

I don't understand why she is doing this, and I was wondering if there was an ISP that you could get that would lead you guys to her. I am sure that any ISP would be able to find that for you. Possibly the company that is hosting her website. I wish you the best of luck, and I wish that I could help you bring this psychopath down cause she desperately deserves it. AOL may be able to track her down, I don't know if AOL is a free service or not for email. There HAS to be something you can do to put her behind bars. What she is doing is destroying OUR breeds reputation etc. (I am a rottweiler owner)

But just thought I would drop you a line to let you know that you could track her ISP to find out where she lives.

Farus is still owned by vom Kirschental, as far as I know. I agree with you, Samantha Smith (whoever she is) is a total pain in the keester and I'm VERY glad that she's left Germanshepherds.com to go and play her little pranks elsewhere. By the way, I could be incorrect but I do not believe the photo of the dog doing bitework is actually Farus. I'm trying to track that photo down.

During her time on Germanshepherds.com, she related the stories of a couple of her dogs dying (funny enough, their pictures are on the "new" site) and really sucked up the sympathy so generously offered by our members. I absolutely HATE to see people being emotionally suckered in that way.
