Sadie has great genetics and super nerves. Her temperament is more like a male than a female. She is very much her own dog and does not easily bond to people when she comes to the kennel from her foster home (she lives with a Lt. on the WI State Patrol) She is a very very good looking black and tan female with a masculine head. She has the typical black and tan saddle.

Sadie's mother is Mausi Schaferheide. Mausi was one of my DDR bitches. Mausi was a bi-color with intense drive.

Sadie is line bred 4-4 on Ingo Rudigen. This was a great working line breeding. Ingo was the strength in Roby Glockenecht. He produced many, many very good police dogs in East Germany.

Good Morning Ed!
Just thought I'd drop you a line and let you know how much I LOVE the pup you chose for me!! He arrived at the Appleton Airport two hours late (The flight was delayed), but ready to play!! I was getting quite anxious about his hydration at that point, but the airline people had water in his crate. And of course I had brought some along.

He is sooooo magnificent!! What a big beautiful pup!! He looks just like Ron doesn't he?! I have been waiting a year for him and it was worth every day. I love the balance in his confirmation, his movement and the wonderful angles and joints on this boy. He is so darn smart too. He went camping on his first day with me and was so very good. He would not relieve himself in the camp area, but went on the outer perimeter. Of course he tried very hard to help take down the tents but was easily distracted by toys and butterflies.

He walks very nicely on a leash already and is very attentive to every word I say to him. I didn't use any hotdogs yet as he had pudding stools the first 24 hrs. He is fine now and we will start some work today using hotdogs. He has such a tremendous will to please you and he is going to be a delight to train. Upon coming home yesterday to the house, he was very good and whined at the back door to relieve himself. He is so very smart. He is pretty good in the crate at night, waking up both nights about 3:30 a.m. to go out and then back in his crate to about 6:30 a.m.

After breakfast this morning we went for a walk around the block and he met some of his new neighbors. He is so brave and so very friendly. He has totally captured my heart I tell you!! Yes, he has a lot of drive too, he is just a blast to play with. He really grips with a full mouth bite too, and he shakes his prey till he's sure it's dead.

Well, I'd better get going here, he's taking a nap then we are going to the flea market to check out all the people and “stuff.” Thank you so much again, I will keep you posted and send you pics too.

Best Regards,
Wendy Wied & "DILLON"
