Una is a black sable East German import. She has super nerves and a strong prey drive. Her drives are so strong that she probably would not make a good house dog, but she is an excellent producing brood bitch. Una has been bred to Nikie three times before. I own 5 bitches from those 3 litters. These will be used for future brood bitches. Three of the 5 have been x-rayed with excellent hips. I used footage of these puppies in my tape on “Bite Training Puppies.”
Una’s sire (Birko) was one of the most popular working dogs of the 1980’s in East Germany. He just recently died. The East German stud book showed that 94% of his puppies had good hips. This is an outstanding achievement.
In my opinion three of the best working dog kennels in East Germany are “Wolfshole,” “Baruther Land” and “Haus Himple.” Una’s pedigree contains all three. What’s in her blood is what makes here the great brood bitch that she is. She will have a lasting influence on the bloodlines of my kennels for years to come.
