Utz is a dark sable SchH 2 male from Peko Haus kennels. He is ready for SchH 3 and FH 2. Utz is a dog that likes to track. He is a calm, slow tracker.
He was imported in the fall of 2000. He has a full deep mouth grip and a calm temperament. He is not a dominant dog and is a willing worker. He is easy to handle and will go well with my Otis daughters.
Utz is a very easy breeder. We have one litter of 12 pups from him and my son handled the breeding. The litter is an excellent litter. There were 12 pups and they were all stocky little pups that were very similar in temperament and type. See the picures below.

Just writing to let you know that Mina is doing great. Still infallible. She is a dream. She weighed in at 40 lbs a week before she turned 4 months. Big girl!! Now that the snow is gone (I am sure, very temporarily) we will work a couple of tracks... but boy does she have herding drive. I am going to a friend’s that has a station in MI with oodles of sheep.
