Leerburg's Relationship Games

Leerburg's Relationship Games DVD
Available Later this Fall 2013
Watch for the Release Date in Our Newsletters

For several years now, Leerburg has been gathering ideas and creating the outline for a DVD titled Leerburg Relationship Games. The concept has finally gone from paper to film. Last week we began the production on the DVD. The video above is a sneak preview. Mark Keating talks about a few of the things we plan on incorporating in our video.

The DVD will teach people fun and easy motivational games to play with their dog. These games not only improve the relationship between the handler and dog, they also have a practical value in our day to day interaction with our dogs. Our goal is to make training fun and interesting. The DVD will cover 8 games. It will be released in time for the holidays. The release date will be announced in our newsletter.

Question: My German Shepherd has been having seizures, my breeder feels this is environmental. Do you know of any chemicals or substances that would cause this?

My 5 year old GSD  had a seizure a month ago and was fine but had 3 today. I called our breeder who feels this in environmental since he has never had one before. We are remodeling our bedroom there is drywall dust, old paint. It has been quite a long process since our house is so old. The men working here today were doing some demo and kicked up a lot of old dust from our walls. Could this be the problem? They only lasted about a minute each one and he snapped out of it and was fine. They happened about 6 hours apart. Do you know of any known chemicals or substances that cause this?

Cindy's Response:

There can be many causes for seizures.  Trauma, vaccine damage, toxins, genetics, etc…

A vet is the place to start finding a cause, I’d get him some medical attention ASAP.  Seizures are serious, I would not try to solve this via the internet.

On Leerburg's Embark Honest Kitchen Dog Food

I'd been feeding raw food to my 4 (yes, FOUR!) 14year-old dogs for about two weeks when I realized I wasn't sure about "complete nutrition" and the fact that there would be some days the food hadn't thawed or I was otherwise unprepared to feed the dogs.

I purchased Embark because 1) I trust Ed and Cindy 100% and if they endorse the product, I know I can trust it. 2) I needed something that wouldn't 'scare" dog sitters and friends who might be helping me but be a little queasy around meat.

It smells fabulous, and even my finicky girl seems to love the taste more than 4 days in a row. I'm about to place another order for more flavors, because she doesn't want to eat raw meat anymore!
