Impulse Control and Distractions
with Ed Frawley
Leerburg.com

Impulse control means the dog needs to learn to control its urge or impulse to do something, like run over to get its ball or the urge to pick up a piece of meat we lay down in front of them.

Teaching impulse control using markers is an excellent, non-confrontational method to us in teaching our dogs to learn self-control under distractions. In this video, we are going to show you how we use markers to teach impulse control.

This video is taken directly out of our online course, The Power of Training Dogs with Markers with Ed Frawley.
