Question
Does the Basic Obedience Course go into how to practice the skills being taught -- when, how much, how long, etc.?
Answer
None of our traning material gives timelines or frequency for training because that is so dog dependant. One dog may benefit from 3 short sessions a day while others may only be in a mindset for training first thing
in the morning. Others may be able to train for a longer period once a day, etc.
Part of the training process is for you to evaluate when your dog is in a good head space to want to interact and work with you. Like people, they are all wildly different. It would be nice if I could give everyone
a printout of a training schedule but that would not be in the best interest of the dog.
