An Introduction to Dog Training

So, you got a new dog and want to begin training but don’t know where to start. You have probably scoured the internet looking for information, which can be overwhelming. And when I say overwhelming I’m referring to both the amount of information out there as well as the information itself.

We are going to take some concepts that are derived from our more advanced dog training concepts and simplify them so that anyone and everyone can understand exactly what they are doing and why. The goal is to give you enough information to be successful training. Without overwhelming you with a ton of complicated jargon and long winded lectures on learning theory.

Can you manage bad behavior with obedience training?

Often times dog owners deal with bad behaviors like excessive barking, jumping on people, pulling on the leash, chewing household items, etc…. I think most dog owners find these behaviors to be unwanted, and difficult to deal with. So the logical question is “Can I manage my dog’s bad behaviors with obedience training?”
