Product Description

Our dogs love the Orbee-Tuff Bones. They are made by the same company as the Orbee-Tuff Ball, one of our top five favorite toys. They are soft and pliable, which is why our dogs love them so much. The minute these bones came into our house, they instantly became one of our dogs' favorite toys. We like them for in the house over balls because they do not roll under furniture. The Orbee-Tuff Bones are dishwasher safe and are created with a fresh, minty scent.

Safety

No toy is 100% indestructible. It is unrealistic to expect that from any toy. The toys that we sell at Leerburg are the best quality and most durable that we have found. Always supervise your dog when playing with toys. Periodically inspect all toys for damage. Do not allow your dog to continue to play with a damaged or broken toy.

My 10-month old GSD has had her tuff bone for a month now and has not done any damage to it. She seems to really like it and it is a nice safe alternative to the hard chew toys she has.

My GSD was very receptive to this new toy; unfortunately, it was not very durable for a strong chewer. After about only 30 minutes, he pulled off a big chunk from the end. I of course had to take it away from him. Maybe I'll give what's left to my Boston Terrier, and see if she has better luck with this "guaranteed durability" chew toy.

Initially this toy was great. Easy to clean and most importantly the dog loved it. Unfortunately it lasted 2 weeks.

My 7 month old German Shepard Puppy loved this bone, it lasted almost 2 weeks. The concept is good, it just has one minor design flaw that leads to the bone not lasting. The issue is the logo is raised, on the bone surface, this raised surface creates a purchase point for teeth that causes the bone to rip in a linear fashion toward the bone end. I was able to salvage the bone by taking an exacto knife to the hanging chad.

As always this is why supervision is required so that you can recognize these type of product issues as they occur to prevent pet injury.

My dogs usually will destroy most toys but we have had 2 of these bones for 2 years and they are still playing with them Thank you!

This is a great looking toy and would be perfect for the very young dog. My 15 month old GSD is rough on toys but even I was surprised with this toy. It arrived in the mail and he was playing with it about two feet away while I cooked dinner. In less than an hour I realized that he had totally ripped one end off the bone and was trying to eat the pieces! Needless to say that was the end of that toy. How disappointing. I had hoped judging by the name of the toy that he'd at least have it for a week or so. But an hour??! If you have this kind of rough dog, go with the firehose toys. Those stand up pretty well.

My dog, Sunnee, loves this bone. It's her favorite toy. I would definitely recommend this bone for other dogs.
