Return Policy

  • For every return processed with our return shipping label, we deduct an return shipping fee from your refund amount.*
  • If you are exchanging an item, an additional $7.99 shipping fee must be paid to cover costs for the new item being shipped to you.*
  • Customers have up to 30 days from the day orders were delivered to return them for refunds or an exchange.
  • We do not require an RMA number to return or exchange an item, you can ship it back with a copy of the receipt.
  • VERY IMPORTANT - Items must be in new and original condition. Returned products must be able to be sold as a brand-new product to another customer.
  • If products have dog slobber, teeth marks, are dirty, or altered in any way, they will not be accepted as a return. The item will be returned to you.
  • Custom-made and special-order items cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • All registered Leerburg customers can use our Order History section to look up domestic orders and make returns/exchanges through an electronic process that is quick and easy to use.
  • If you have any questions, please use our customer support form on our contact us page and select "Returning a Product" from the drop down menu.
  • Original shipping charges are not refundable.
  • Returns will be processed within 5-10 business days. Your refund will be credited back to you at that time. If you are using our return shipping label, a return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

*Some items are subject to additional shipping fees. Customers outside of the US are responsible for additional shipping costs.

Products that we will not refund or exchange:

  • Food, Treats, Supplements, and Scent Work Kits & Refills. For safety reasons these items cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • DVDs. Due to the nature of the video/DVD business, we do not refund money for DVDs and we will not substitute one title DVD for a different title DVD.

  • AI Kits

Leerburg Domestic Return Instructions

  • Once we ensure an item was returned in new and original condition, we will start the refund or exchange process. The refund will be credited back to the original form of payment. We cannot credit a different card or issue a different form of payment. There are no exceptions.
  • If the customer chooses a Leerburg.com credit instead of a refund, we email the amount of the credit placed on your account for future use. The credits can be used towards anything we sell on our website.
  • Credits DO NOT have an expiration date. They DO NOT EXPIRE.
  • If you would like an exchange for a different item, include the product name in a note along with the price difference (if any) and include a copy of your original order receipt.
  • If we need additional information, we will contact you by email. If we have not heard back from you within 30 days, we will issue a credit on your account. This credit does NOT HAVE an expiration date.

Shipping rates for returns and exchanges are the responsibility of the customer.

Overseas Orders on Out-of-Stock Products

When an order is placed for an out-of-stock, we contact the customer if we have the same product in a different color or style.

If there is not a substitution, we will issue a refund for that product, and customers will be notified by email. Please use our customer support form on our contact us page if you have any questions.
