Description

This is a lead and collar in one. It is easily adjustable to fit any size dogs neck between 16" and 30." It is made of very soft braided nylon with brass hardware. These collars were first used by greyhound owners but have become popular with all breeds. Dogs do not slip out of this lead.

This lead is made of strong multifilament polypropylene roping and solid braid webbing is waterproof, colorfast and shows no performance-loss when wet. A UV coating protects against decay and fading. The highest quality leathers are tanned using the "English bridle leather process" for durability, weather resistance and a deep, consistent color. Brass hardware and made in the USA.

I absolutely LOVE this Martingale Lead. I have had many complements on it and it stays on my dog who absolutely dislikes any collar and will find a way to get out of one. I have had mine for 2 years now and will be ordering a couple more with in the next few months.

The only thing I don't like about ordering, is you are subject to whoever is filling your orders color whim. I would like to order specific colors.

**Leerburg note: If you want a specific color, you can call us to place your order and see if we have that color in stock. We do our best to give customers the colors that they want.

This is a nice start off collar from the prong if your ultimate goal is to use a normal leash and collar in, say, the CGC test. Very soft and well made as well. My dog acted like his prong was still on. Still have to try in more distractions though to know for sure. I used to use the British slip lead to start but the reaction wasn't so good or polished. I hope one day they allow this in the CGC because it doesn't pull any more but provides a little more control where needed.
