Flynn, a two year old German Shepherd is my soul mate. He knows when I need some cheering up. He and I love each other, unconditionally. Flynn's temperament is so easy going. We work everyday in obedience training. He will go and get his favorite ball and sit in front of me until I give in and go outside to play. He loves to ride in the car, especially if we stop at the ice cream shop. He gets a free cup of vanilla ice cream.

This is Asa, he is a 18 month old Dutch Shepherd. He is a dual purpose working dog, currently training in explosive detection. He is a valued partner at Shoreline K9 where we offer training for working dogs and pet dogs.

This is the second of my two contest entries. The other is of Lucy bursting out of the water.

Here she is later in the same day, still wet from swimming, showing off that she can pose for the camera and run at the same time.

Lucy is modeling a Leerburg 18-inch drag lead.

Lucy is 8 months old in this picture, about 45 pounds and she hasn't grown much since.

Lucy (8 months old in this picture) is a good water retriever. Since she learned to swim, she's been 100% dedicated to the task.

This picture, rather than being a portrait, captures the dynamic energy of a happy dog in water action.

Lucy is a pound mutt, eight months old in this picture, originally from Georgia, now at home in Boston Mass.

Denver was one of those dogs everyone wishes they had. Being a Therapy Dog he visited Hospitals, Schools, Airports, putting smiles on every face he ever met. He was a Champion in the show ring, had many obedience, hunting, and Rally titles leaving him a list of accomplishments . His biggest one was just being our best friend.

Foreman was a pup that came up to Boston from Arkansas to be adopted. With a permanent heart condition we also then found out he had heartworms. I fostered him through treatment and then decided- why not adopt! So adopted him. He is quite the character and sits like this all the time
