Thanks...it does hurt anymore but this cast is annoying me now LOL. They told me to take prednisone for4 days, but its still tight from swelling...idk if i should go through the hassle on them changing the cast or keep taking it. Any idea if the swelling will go away soon on its own?
A tired dog is a good dog, a trained dog is a better dog.
There can be quite a change in some adult dogs who are castrated. Lots of behaviors are accentuated by testosterone.
It used to be routine, if a dog was getting "mean", roaming, doing lots of urine marking, just being too boisterous for vets to recommend castration. Obviously training would be better but some folks just aren't going to do it.
I'd say one out of five dogs who were castrated as mature adults really DID change. They became calmer, gentler, easier.
Perhaps Logan was sick of his beast role anyway and he'll enjoy his new more relaxed self. Let's hope!
Some dogs got REALLY FAT so watch for that.

LOL @ "beast role"
He still acts macho. When we play he'll only chase the ball 3x then he acts all tired and whimpy and wants to sit on my lap....so un-Logan-like I hope that's temporary. Not that I mind him calmer, but where's my crazy dutchie? And he doesn't constantly talk anymore.
