I am in the market for a new prong collar. I had the small Herm Sprenger chrome plated one and had no issues for a long time. I need another one now and was going to get the black stainless steel Herm Sprenger. I took a look at one that I saw a friend had and wasn't too happy with the quality. The links were much more easy to pinch than the chrome plated one. I could pull it apart with barely any pressure. Is this common for the stainless steel ones? I don't want to go to the next size up, I have to remove to many links if I do. I was just looking to see if I should just stick with another chrome collar or if the stainless steel one I saw was not typical.
Thanks
