Leerburg's BioThane Long Lines are 1/2 inch wide, compared to our competitor's line which are 5/16" wide. Made with stainless steel hardware, this long line will last much longer than lines made with chrome hardware. Stainless steel will never rust. On top of that, BioThane (unlike leather), isn't affected by rain.

These long lines are locally made by our Amish partners. You can order the long line at a length of either 15ft or 33ft and in either black or orange (while supplies last).

About BioThane

BioThane is a popular material used in dog leashes and collars today. It's easy to clean and extremely durable. BioThane can take up to 500lbs of tensile strength. Here at Leerburg, we are always concerned over the quality of new materials used in our dog training equipment. Excellent long lead. 5 stars b/c the product is as good as it claims to be. I was foolish and used the line as a tie-out and my hound scissored through it in minutes flat. The product is great, just hoping to keep others from repeating my mistake. If you have a dog who chews do not attempt using this as a tie-out.

Excellent product that’s held up great in low temperatures and rain and snow. However I’d like to see them be riveted like the biothane leaches and a frog clip would be a nice option

The BioThane Long Line is much better than others I have used. It does not absorb water, stays light, can be easily located (some colors) and stays relatively clean.
