Should I Use a Harness for a Puppy Until I Begin Leash Pressure Work in Heeling?

11-23-2011 -- 4 Minutes, 28 Seconds

Question from Belinda: I've seen the Focused Heeling DVD and it brought up a question I had regarding the use of a harness for a competition pup in the early months and then adding in the use of a collar later on especially in light of leash pressure training. Does Michael suggest using a harness primarily for a puppy until you begin leash pressure work? And if so, a regular harness as opposed to a no pull harness? When do you transition the pup out of this?
