This Hurdle Jump meets the IGP/IPO/Schutzhund requirement for a hurdle with a pivoting top section. This new hurdle is designed to meet the rule changes that will be in effect January of 2019. The FCI regulations state that: "The hurdle has the following dimensions: height 100cm, width 150cm. The hurdle must be a "pendulum hurdle". This is a style hurdle jump where the top section of the hurdle pivots and swings. The pivoting top section of this hurdle is a great feature. Not just for safety but one can very easily see when a dog touches the top rail because the top section of the hurdle will move then swing back into position.

The all aluminum welded frame is a no-rust, sturdy frame that is light weight for portability. Unlike steel, aluminum does not warm up in sunlight, does not rust, and will never have to be repainted. The Hurdle Jump is fully adjustable in height. This is a nice feature for training new dogs or starting a young dog. You can easily adjust the height by simply loosening the rubber "easy grip" turn knobs and then sliding the top rail to the desired height. No bolts, screws or tools are necessary for assembly or use of this hurdle jump. This hurdle is put together and taken apart easily for slim storage. The hurdle comes with a high quality full zipper storage bag that has two carry handles and hanging loop.

The body of the hurdle is made from outdoor, marine-grade fabric. Marine-grade fabric is light weight and does not stretch with the heat from the sun. For safety, the top rail of this hurdle is padded. This is a safety feature so your dogs will not hurt themselves on their underbelly or legs while passing over the hurdle.
